Strengthen Your Team

Many companies rely on the partnership of the inside sales person and the outside sales person.  This team works proactively to close sales.  Most commonly the inside sales person does the prospecting and appointment setting for the outside sales person.

There is no hard and fast rule that an outside sales person must follow-up with clients or prospects in person 100% of the time.  Set aside one morning or afternoon, or an entire day to work the phones.  This demonstrates a willingness to be flexible that is visible to the entire company.  An additional benefit will be a renewed sense of appreciation for the team effort and both parties' individual role.  It has such a positive impact across the board that once this has been implemented, most companies continue the practice.
