  • State government resources for businesses.
  • Governor's Office of Economic Development, Procurement Office. This site will help you register to be a contractor for Federal Government sources.
  • To become a vendor for Salt Lake County government.
  • For help with permits and inspections in Salt Lake County.
  • For financial resources to grow your business:
    Microenterprise Loan Fund
    Salt Lake County Revolving Loan Fund
    Banks/Credits Unions who offer traditional and SBA loans.
  • The Utah Small Business Development Centers provide a network of centers focused on helping small businesses in Utah to grow and flourish. They can help you do market research, upgrade your business plan, or fine tune your accounting principles.
  • The Women's Business Center was created through a partnership with the SBA and the Salt Lake City Chamber. Their goal is to support woman-owned businesses through counseling, training and networking opportunities.
  • The Zions Bank Business Resource Center is a collection of resources that can help you as a small business leader. You can also find the SCORE offices at this location. SCORE is a group of retired business leaders who counsel with small businesses for free.
  • Talent Access Programs at the Governor's Office of Economic Development provide talent focused tools, resources, and education programs that empower Utah companies to successfully recruit key talent essential to their growth, expansion and profitability.
  • The Senior Employment Program provides free employment services to all Salt Lake County residents age 55 and older.  Services available include:  Referrals to jobs in the community; job listings targeted to older workers; job serch assistance; help with resume development; job interview coaching and job-skills training.  To make an appointment, call 801-468-2785.
